Installation Instructions
To obtain peak performance and longest product life of the Millennium Antennas from Antenna Plus, the mounting surface should be free of any oil or contaminants and of obstructing metal objects near the antenna. The mounting surface should be at room temperature or a minimum of 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Permanent Mount Installation Instructions
- Determine the desired location of placement of the antenna.
- Drill or punch a 3/8 inch diameter hole at that point.
- Use supplied alcohol pad to clean surface around the hole where the antenna will be mounted. The surface must be clean and free of oil and contaminants.
- Carefully apply the adhesion promoter 4298 (supplied with antenna) only to the surface to be covered with the antenna. Allow to fully dry before proceeding but do not exceed 1 hour.
- Insert coaxial cable through the hole
- Remove the backing material from the base of the antenna. Press the antenna in place. Apply firm hand pressure around the perimeter of the base to assure proper adhesion.
- Apply the appropriate connector to the end of the coaxial cable and connect to the transceiver.
